Wow! . .what are they feeding those 2 Hounds?

Well everyone is feeling a little beat up after that first game with the Greyhounds. Those two big dogs they have sure did blast over our defensives; we’ll have to adjust quickly to that! Guess they figured since they were acting as home team for the game, they could have their way with "Little Monster" and did at our expense. Think I might climb up there tomorrow night with my glove and put a stop to that! The pitching was good too, but Drew Robertson must have the secret after getting all 3 of our hits in the game. He was only a triple away from batting the cycle.

Saturday we’re the Home Team! The shackles placed on the Press Box will have been removed and the Railroaders will fire it up to tie the series and give us one more day of baseball on Sunday. I think the boys are trying to set us up for more thrill and chills. Are you ready?

A few words on comments: we’re releasing the shackles on the moderation of comments, also. I agree with the posted comment “No more trash talking, just play ball! It just makes UC want to beat us more!” Personally, I thought Fans on both sides behaved very well tonight, and let’s face it, there was some pretty good baseball playing out there. The points on differences between the Fans has been made and taken to heart. Let’s focus on the game now and get the job done.

  3. I have a fact for you. I know what they are feeding those 2 hounds, Corey White's(South Fulton's "King of Sling) belt high over the middle of the plate fastballs.

  4. My son was waiting for Corey Whites autograph after the game and some of the players said that he left the dugout and did not come back right after he was taken out of the game. Did anyone else hear about this?

  5. KING OF SLING, i think not. more like KING OF BIG FAT OVER THE MIDDLE HIT ME. once again the manager left his pitcher in to long. 6 runs of of 4 home runs, come on when the pitcher does'nt have it get him out. cory needs to keep his head into the game. he thinks he is great, you can tell by the way he acts. he needs to grow up and stop think he is the king of sling.

  7. we really didn't think the hounds would just lay down for us did we. Let's get back out there and play some ball. 1 game does not make a series. i want to hear some noise out there tonight!

  8. Come on guys, I know you are tired and are ready to go home to your families and girlfriends, but go out with your heads held high! Don't tuck your tails between your legs and give up. Give it everything you have tonight and come out as winners. Getting home one day earlier won't make that much difference! Ya'll are champions...let's go out as champions!

  10. All you Fulton fans need to know that Cory White got all of his stuff and left yesterdays game and went home without telling anyone after he came out of the game! Thats not a ball player and its very immature!

  11. you are right , he is a good kid and i hope he gets his act together,im sure he was upset with the banging he was getting but nevertheless wrong thing to do.

  12. Yes, he did leave right when he was taken out. He showed the real Cory White that all his hometown fans never see, the IMMATURE side. Cory White is very immature and very self-centered. He has never choked like that in front of his hometown. He had a lot to live up to last night and he didnt even come close. So when he got taken out he showed the man he is(or isnt) by not facing everyone. It really wasnt that big of a deal you lost get over it but he thinks hes such a hot shot he was too embarassed to face everybody.

  13. I think it's time for Cory White to put on his "big boy" pants and grow up! You can't just quit and pick up your toys and go home when things don't go your way

  14. I agree! Cory White has talent, he doesnt have the head for the game though. What he did last night that was one of the most immature things a player could ever do! Its a game, im sure something has happened like that to a pitcher this year and im sure they didnt go home in the middle of the game. A great example is the game against Sikesten for the Championship. Arron Varnum gave up 3 runs and let them tie in the 9th but went back out and competed and won. Thats what Cory White didnt do and he needs to grow up!

  15. Yes, Mr. White has a few issues to resolve. His 6th win back in late July against the Bulls, he got into trouble the first 3 innings, but came out of it and pitched a good game. Whatever he used then is what he need to use everytime he's confronted with a situation like that.

  16. It is no shame to give up 4 pop ups in that "ballpark"

  17. Hoghead,
I know you said no more comments about the greyhounds, However this needs to be said. They listed on their web-site that they were the League Champs. Well according to Randy Morgan the commissioner. We are the champs and we will forever be known as the 2007 Kitty League Champions. We should because our guys earned it. It has been such a wonderful experience following the Railroaders this year and with the exception of one person in the organization It was fun.I hope he dosen't run em all off.
    Thanks for all the memories.
