The 2009 Season comes to an end.

We may not have completed the season the way we wanted, but there was still a lot of great baseball played. All the players, families, fans, and owners got to enjoy some grand action over the last two months. Time to look forward to next season and more Railroaders baseball. I for one would like to thank all the players and owners for their time and effort to bring good baseball to Fulton. Now it’s time for the off-season and the players are off to their college endeavors, good luck in the years to come!

If you’d like to post your comments about the season, this is the place to do it.

  2. All good things must come to a end as some smart guy once quoted...This season was crazy from day 1-with players not reporting and other issues as well, Hats off to Coaches, players and mgt. for getting guys here and a roster set. Terry and Bryan did a awesome job of getting this train headed down the tracks to contending for the league penant as well as the playoff champ. This team did a great job and worked hard, sometimes things just arnt ment to be. Saying goodbye to these guys and the 09 season is hard and we wish them the very best in what life dishes them out, hopefully you will all have some great memories here and friends to carry with you. As Mike said, thanks to all the parents and family for the support this season, you have a great bunch of kids. Good luck in your school Baseball program and keep the grades up,stay in touch, once you are Railroader you are always a Railroader.

  3. I would like to say thank you to everybody involved with our team this summer. I had no idea what was going to happen when I decided to come play for the Railroaders this summer. This might have been one of the best decisions I have ever made. This was a wonderful experience for me. Leaving this morning was a difficult one. I would like to thank all the GM's, Coaches, Fellow teammates, the fans, and the entire city of Fulton for opening their arms to kids they have never met. It was a very humbling thing to see a city take us in like we were one of your own. Thank you all so very much for everything. I sure won't forget all the nice things everyone has done for me as well as all the friendship I have made. Again, I am so greatful for everyone involved and wish everyone the best of luck at what the future brings. Thank you for this great expirience!

  4. I dont know where to begin to say thanks for everything that the city of Fulton and the staff of the Railroaders did for me. Although, I only got to experience the ride for a limited time, I enjoyed every second of my experience. The Railroader Family gained many sons and I hope to keep in contact with all of the brothers I gained in such a short time. I wish everyone the best and only hope to see the train roll further down the track next year. My fellow teammate Philip Dean couldnt of said it better, this was one of the best decisions in my career. Thanks and May God Bless.

Congratulations to another enjoyable summer of baseball! And THANK YOU to these young men who gave it their all representing the Railroaders and the town of Fulton. 9. We had our annual visit to the area the week of July 19th. As we have the past couple years we were able to attend the RR game and as always had an excellent time. We look forward to attending each year that we visit. While we have the Detroit Tigers here, there is nothing more fun to attend the RR's games and see all the great baseball and excitement in the ball park. To the players and all the people who make the Railroaders all possible Hats off to you and a job well done. That is what Fulton is all about
