I think we are fortunate to be in a relative close division in a tight race for second and only 3 games behind the leader. The biggest issue for some of the teams, including the Railroaders, is errors. The current statistics speak for themselves. The issue remains, get on track defensively in the field and better standing will be achieved. Everything else is on track including a great ability the Railroaders have to come back in a game regardless of the score. Let’s just get it straighten out on the field of play. And that’s all I have to say about that!
With 18 games left in the regular season, there's plenty of time left to take this race. At the Yard tonight with the Chiefs once more. Time to turn it around!

Not sure what the strategy was in a new shortstop; as Hoghead points out those physical mistakes are hard to overcome. But in reality it's the mental mistakes that kill you.
ReplyDeleteJoe Hall has to be silently laughing at us. It appears obvious that we have the best talent but he plays small ball against us and is 3-0. Utilizing a couple of bunts, a walk and a hit batsman he scores and has the bases loaded leading to a big inning. Meanwhile the Roaders are hitting ropes all over the ballpark with less results. Don't know why our big hitters think they can outrun the ball; they are often trying for that extra base. That's not team ball, that's an individual looking for glory. Looking for a win tonight to start another winning streak!
Correct and you are only as good as your record says you are
DeleteAt the Yard @ 1718 hours. Field looks good and ready. No players from either side to be found. All is quiet before our battle with the Chiefs tonight.
ReplyDeleteSorry Hoghead it wasn't a battle, more like Little Bighorn. Fifteen strikeouts says it all. Good job Brandon!!!!
DeleteYou got that right!!!
DeleteTime to mix things up with players and positions if our errors are getting the better of us. Gotta play tight and get runners home.
ReplyDeletewell it sure was mixed up tonight, to bad Kire wasnt there maybe he could had pitched too

ReplyDeleteHey any ritual that works, bring it! Standing at the end of the dugout! Thanks for letting us know.
DeleteJared' Cramer's family is watching and listening
ReplyDeleteListening to the game and hear you have a new temporary announcer. Sounds like he has a new position with the team. He's a better announcer than he is a pitcher. LOL.
